About Fine Physics
Fine Physics is a technology consortium that curates and represents the next generation of engineering simulation tools. We’re not another software vendor—we’re the alternative. Our members develop physics tools that deliver 100x performance improvements or achieve results that were previously impossible. Think electromagnetic simulation, thermal optimization, ML-ready data curation, and battery systems that actually push the boundaries of what engineers can do.
We work with companies across industries who are tired of incremental improvements and ready for breakthrough capabilities, with a strong focus in automotive.
The Role
We’re looking for an Account Manager who gets excited about state-of-the-art simulation technology and can speak the language of engineering teams. You’ll be managing relationships with clients who use our consortium members’ tools—primarily automotive OEMs and tier 1 suppliers, along with clients in aerospace, defense, and other engineering-intensive industries.
This isn’t about reading from a sales script. You need to understand what makes a 100x faster electromagnetic solver matter to an antenna engineer, or why thermal optimization can change product development cycles. Your engineering background will be essential because you’ll be having real technical conversations with people solving hard problems.
What You’ll Do
- Manage accounts with a primary focus on automotive clients
- Build relationships with engineering teams and decision-makers who actually use simulation tools
- Understand client workflows well enough to identify where consortium members’ capabilities create value
- Coordinate between clients and our consortium members
- Drive account growth by connecting the right tools to the right problems
- Represent multiple cutting-edge technologies, not just one product line
- Travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events
What You Need
- Engineering degree (mechanical, aerospace, electrical, or related field)
- Genuine interest in how simulation technology is evolving—you should care about what makes tools better
- Experience working with or around engineering teams (industry experience preferred)
- Ability to have technical conversations without needing to be the deepest expert
- Strong relationship management skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable with remote work
- US Citizenship (required)
What Makes This Different
You’re not selling legacy software from a massive vendor. You’re representing a curated portfolio of companies that are actually pushing boundaries. Our members have to prove they’re either 100x faster or achieving impossible-to-replicate results—there’s no room for incremental improvements or marketing hype.
We have a very strong belief in good business ethics. We pride ourselves on transparency and have developed a solid and trusted reputation in the industry. When you represent Fine Physics, you’re backed by and upholding that credibility.
You’ll work closely with our leadership team (including founders with decades of experience at major simulation companies) and have direct access to the technical teams at each consortium member.
